You’re Beautiful and He knows it

You’re Beautiful and He knows it. Have you ever experienced or noticed how kids don’t need directions explaining how to play with their food? They also don’t need a tutorial teaching them how to be themselves; they just are! If my son is determined to meow like a kitty in the grocery store, he does it. And if I feel like taking my shoes off at a friends house knowing full well that I’m wearing holey socks, girlz, you know I will. So where’s the lesson in this? Our Father in his great wisdom has placed his very own fingerprints on you and me. He wants us to resemble him. Have you heard that old expression “God broke the mold when he made that one”? You know what? He really did break the mold when he made us. He wanted the world to know that you belonged to his family and that he used his own hands to make you into his image. Here’s another point of view. I believe that the reason he made you to look exactly the way you do, (which by the way is gorgeous), and like no other human, is because he wanted us to know all of the different facets of who he is. I think that collectively we resemble him and that is just one of the reasons why he is so proud to be our Heavenly Father. That idea makes me happy to know him personally. Now I want you to pause and think about what makes you, you….…..pausing……….. What makes you laugh, cry, what tendencies do you have, what means the very most to you? Those are his fingerprints all over you. Do you know how proud he is of you? Can you fathom how fantastic you are to him, how valuable, beautiful, gifted and treasured you are? He gave us the sacrifice of his son, Jesus. He loves us that much. So, be the person you are meant to be, because that is the person he intended to make. Here is the verse to meditate on: John 3:16 For God so loved the world, (you and me), that he gave his only son. That whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life. Have a fantastic week! Love, Dede

Thank you, Dede ~ your words are always such a blessing to me. Thank you for pointing us to His truths and reminding us of His love. We are all created with a loving touch; His workmanship (which in Hebrew means, His masterpiece!). Bless you!!
