Shaken, Not Stirred.

A long, long, very long time ago, I was asked to sing at a gospel tent revival. There were some beautiful, black women sitting in the front row, each of them with were adorned with a fabulous hat. My mom had heard one of the ladies say, "How wonderful that we're going to have a nice white girl sing for us". Well, my mom said that when I really got into the heart of the song, the people were amazed because they didn't expect the voice that I had to come out of my 5'1" body. I loved that I was totally underestimated! See girls people are going to underestimate you and that's ok! Surprise them, shock them...but in an amazing way. When people expect you to do something typical, do something extraordinary! Be the most outrageous Christian that God will enable you to be. Be like Daniel in the lion's den. Be like Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego before getting into the fire. Be like Queen Esther, extraordinary with courage to go before a king unsummoned! Don't allow shaking circumstances to stir your spirit up! I love you all, Dede Daniel 6:1-9 How can your circumstances be shaken without you being stirred? 1. Integrity at all cost! If people are going to find fault with you, let it be because you love God. 2. Be a creature of habit! Daniel 6:10 3. Trust the LORD!! vs. 21, 22 He will shut the lion’s mouths! 4. Operate in your giftings so that people won’t be able to dissuade you from who you are and what you‘re supposed to be doing. Hang out with people of similar giftings! Daniel 1:3-7 Daniel chapter 3 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. Esther 2:1-4 Haman’s great manipulation. Queen Vashti’s removal. Vs 8 Kidnapped for a king (Xerxes) Favor vs. 9 Her trust for the Lord was Tested vs. 8-12, 16-17 She received even Greater Favor after she passed her test!!
