Never Say What Doesn't Need To Be Said!

Quest For A Godly Marriage Tip #1 Btw, using this skill in all relationships will be a great reward to you and those around you. If you aren't married then learn this skill now with your friends and family!

Here it is. Never say what doesn't need to be said!

Let me explain. If you are having a conversation with someone about...boiling water, and one person says, "I'll get the pot" rest assured you do not need to say, "well, yeah...and then I'm sure you'll get the water right?!" Because what you're doing is undermining and rude, and it has the implications of a substandard of intellect. I hope that you didn't just read that and say, "Well, Duh".
Never saying what doesn't need to be said takes PATIENCE and a CLOSED mouth. Also, if you continue to be snide in your comments and justify it by saying, "Oh, I'm just kidding", you are doing more damage and their confidence in you will NOT remain. But if you don't care about having loving relationships and want to be lonely, then by all means, continue.
NEVER SAY WHAT DOESN'T NEED TO BE SAID! If you can get this in your spirit, it will yield powerful results! It is a skill which means it needs to be practiced over and over to get it right. What's the skill again?
NEVER SAY WHAT DOESN'T NEED TO BE SAID! Speak life! If you don't know how that's ok, anybody can learn because the Bible has tons of scriptures that teach about speaking life. For instance,
1 Peter 3:10
For the Scriptures say, “If you want to enjoy life and see many happy days, keep your tongue from speaking evil and your lips from telling lies." This is pretty straight forward and very obvious. Don't let garbage come out of your mouth and don't lie. This goes way beyond gossip and talking about all the disease in the world.
Not speaking evil means saying anything that doesn't give life just shouldn't be said. It's easy to understand, but not so easy to implement. Even so, DO IT!
NEVER SAY WHAT DOESN'T NEED TO BE SAID. 'Nuf said. Love you all!!
